Introduction to Yachting to International bareboat Skipper/Captain International Certificate of Competence (For Citizens and Residents of the UK and Ireland only) Yachtmaster Coastal, Offshore and Ocean RECREATIONAL ONLY (does not requires STCW, and cannot be upgraded to Professional without taking whole MOY course)

Master of Yachts Mate 200 Ton/Coastal, Master of Yachts 200gt Limited and Unlimited, Diveboat Master, levels 1, 2 and 3 (previously reffered to as coastal, Offshore and Ocean respectively)

STCW Basic Safety Training - Please note that very strict requirements have to be met by an applicant center to be approved to offer STCW Basic Training - this covers facilities, intructors and equipment

As part of the STCW approval process a full audit of facilities, instructors and equipment will be required as well as an audit of the first course over 5 days. This course will need to be audited annually also. The costs of the first and subsequent audits will be borne by the Applicant and include the Auditor's time, flights, accommodation, meals and sundry expenses etc.

When submitting you partner school application form to IYT for approval, please also e mail the following documents

  1. Photographs of your training facility, classrooms and boats that will be used for training
  2. Nautical resumes or CV’s for the instructors that you wish to have qualified as IYT instructors
  3. Copies of all nautical qualifications and certificates that your instructors hold (translated into English where applicable)

The submission of all of these documents will greatly help to speed up your application processing time.
